 Photo Provided by Distinct Ocassions Alright Brides, we've got some IMPORTANT advice for your outdoor summer wedding!!! Last weekend we had two outdoor weddings - one at Eagle Hills Golf Course and one at Meadowood Lodge in McCall. Both weddings were WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, and FUN. We wouldn't change anything about these weddings but we do have a recommendation to all you summer Brides in Boise - TAKE INSECT REPELLENT and SUNSCREEN! Yesterday I was reading in Consumer Reports and learned that mosquitoes are attracted to our heat, sweat, and the carbon dioxide that we emit. They also like all the yummy perfumes, body sprays, and lotions we use. So, combine 100-300 people in the same outdoor location in the summer and the mosquitoes are sure to want to join the party! We recommend having the bug repellent handy for you and your guests. A couple of bottles should do the trick. Consumer reports recommended Cutter Skinsations (has a clean fresh scent). This would be perfect for a wedding when you need insect repellent and don't want the whole party to smell like Off. No offense Off. Cutter Skinsations is also the least expensive per ounce of all the insect repellents they tested. Next, Brides, make sure you use sunscreen on your big day if you are having an outdoor wedding. The sun loves your skin! Our recommendation is to have a couple of cans/bottles of sunscreen and mosquito repellent at your wedding for you and for your guests.
